I've been busy....

... and now I'm off to do some basting.

This is my summer quilt: the scrappy stash-busting quilt top is all finished, the back is nice and straight and it's all been ironed to within an inch of its life. So now I'm off with my iPod to do my favourite task - ah, basting! How I loathe thee! (But so much better now I've learned the trick of basting on the bed - no more crawling around on the floor, cursing.)

Wish me luck, chooks! I have to get this thing basted before I can remove it from the bed and sleep.

Wow - that's going to be a beautiful quilt. Happy basting!

(I think I might use your theory for finishing a project before you can sleep ... I'm off to put all the ironing and dishes on my bed)

This is a beautiful quilt. An heir loom no less. Amazing what to do with scraps. Just lovely. Cheers. Loani

It must be something lost in the translation as although the quilt looks good enough to eat, do you really wish to start pouring hot oil over it, even if there was the hint of rosemary to it?
